Fees can be paid in full or monthly at £460 per month by standing order.
Compared to other independent schools our fees are extremely good value for money, especially as the class sizes are so small.
In certain circumstances means tested assisted places and academic scholarships may be available.
The Infants class consists of Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. There is a full time teaching assistant supporting the class teacher. The maximum number in the class is 12.
After an enquiry has been made, a prospectus is sent. If you are interested in more details please phone to make an appointment with the Head Teacher. If you wish to put your child's name down for a place after this interview, you may do so at this stage but it does not mean that a place has been offered. This will be confirmed when the child has completed their trial period.
A mutually convenient date will be arranged in which your child is invited to spend some half days with us. For Reception children we will telephone you to arrange this during the autumn term in the year of your child's fifth birthday. Should all parties be satisfied after this introduction, registration will follow. Reception children will be invited for more trial days to help them settle in before officially starting.
A prospectus is sent on request.
Children are admitted into each year up to a maximum of 12 (depending on the group). After parents have had an interview with the Head Teacher, your child is requested to try one full week. If both sides are in agreement, the parents may complete a registration form and your child may start at the school as soon as is mutually convenient. A trial week does not guarantee a place. A trial week gives us and your child the opportunity to ascertain whether a small school suits your child's needs.
As soon as your child starts school, our school secretary will request records from the previous school.

From September 2009 Highfields Private School will offer a number of means-tested places for children to be able to enter into any year group of the school.
The application process for entry in 2010 will commence in October 2009.
The aim of the scheme is to make independent education available to those that have previously ruled it out due to financial constraints. Up to 90% assistance can be given, based on need. Fees are based on an assessment of parental income. Candidates will also have to sit examinations in Maths and English during a trial week at the school and have an interview with the Head Teacher.
Academic Scholarships
20-50% varying in value.
Outstanding candidates are awarded scholarships purely on academic merit and potential. They are chosen on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam and at interview.
Music Scholarships
The school is keen to support and develop its excellence in music.
Funds are available for up to 2 music scholarships. They are awarded on the basis of an audition and academic examinations.
