Infant Curriculum

The Infant department consists of Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.

The Reception and Nursery curriculum covers The 6 Areas of Learning and forms the basis of our Foundation Stage, these are:

Reception pupils are also taught French.

Highfields Nursery Department

Come and meet us in our newly refurbished Pre-School! Our children are happy and have lots of fun! The small class size ensures that all children receive the maximum attention and we are able to cater fully for individual interests and needs. We aim to promote a child’s well-being, their ability to thrive physically and to learn through play and structured activity. Our Pre-School provides a first-class start to your child’s education through our unique ‘family atmosphere’.
