Thank you for visiting our website and finding out all about what Highfields Private School has to offer.

I would never have believed eight years ago that Highfields was to grow so quickly. We pride ourselves on being a "small school" - not just a small version of a large primary or secondary school, but a school where each and every pupil is treasured and can develop in an individual way.

Highfields Private School was officially opened in April 2000. I, along with my co-proprietor and two colleagues, had become aware that certain pupils were finding it increasingly difficult to cope with life in a large, impersonal school. We were concerned that our children were not achieving their full potential in such a setting. We decided then, to create a small teaching environment where our pupils could progress in a way which suited their own unique needs.

From such humble beginnings our school began - and I am delighted to say that it has been a true success story! Year on year we have grown and developed in every way. We are very proud of our thriving, innovative and successful school where everyone has something unique to offer.
